Who is making the top?
A prepared base does not simplify resin formulation, casting, or curing. If you are buying the top, ask its maker for specifications and mounting requirements. If you are making it, follow the resin manufacturer's technical directions for that exact system.
What will it weigh?
Get an estimated finished weight based on the actual dimensions and materials. Resin designs can vary substantially. Share the estimate with the base seller and the person responsible for the structure; do not infer suitability from another table's appearance.

The shape is ready. The choices are yours.
Start with an unfinished foundation and choose the tabletop and finish around your project.

Wood, resin, and embedded reinforcement do not create identical fastening conditions. Ask the top maker to identify suitable attachment zones and hardware. The base kit's included connection screws are not a ready-made attachment solution for a custom river top.
What support does the design require?
The maker should evaluate span, thickness, stability, and reinforcement needs for the proposed surface. Resolve those requirements before selecting the base. Some designs may need a different structure rather than additional screws in a base that was not specified for them.
How should the styles relate?
A simple base color can give a dramatic river pattern room to stand out. Compare a finish sample with the fully cured top appearance. The goal is a coordinated table, not choosing each half separately and hoping their colors agree indoors.
What care does the surface need?
Ask for the maker's guidance on heat, cleaning, finish maintenance, and intended use. Product-specific advice matters more than a generic promise about epoxy durability. Keep that information with your project notes so the completed dining table is cared for appropriately.
Your project starts with a base
Four unfinished rubberwood turned legs, prepared pine apron/skirting pieces, and leg-to-apron screws. You supply the top, finish, tools, and suitable top attachments. Assembly instructions are not included; buyers should be comfortable assembling furniture. Legs ship from the supplier and aprons from our shop, so parcels may arrive separately.
